Our very first major collection, Mixed Metaphor is a celebration of India in all its chromatic, chaotic glory. Drawing inspiration from vividly painted temples, exuberant architecture, and the unapologetically expressive aesthetics scattered across the Indian landscape, this collection fuses diverse materials, techniques, and traditions into bold, harmonious forms.

At its heart lies a deep nostalgia—a tribute to the imagined glamour of 1950s and '60s Bollywood. Think rani pink colliding playfully with parrot green, bold yellows merging with tangerine tones, and metallic flashes of silver and gold dancing across mirror work and appliqué detailing. The palette and patterns echo the optimism of vintage cinema hoardings and hand-painted film posters—relics of a more colorful time.

Mixed Metaphor is where classic silhouettes meet modern sensibilities. The collection includes statement furniture, home accessories, chests, and trunks—each piece layered with storytelling, craft, and cultural references. These works not only marked the beginning of our journey but also laid the foundation for many of our future explorations in design.
